Little Lollipops Pre-School, the play group curriculum enables children to continue their exploration. The Little Lollipops Playgroup Program seeks to promote and strengthen healthy physical, social and emotional development as well as provide the optimum opportunities for intellectual development. Little Lollipops Pre-School playgroup program is an extension of the home. Often, this is the first time the child comes away from the comfort of familiar people and surroundings at home and steps into an unknown world. Children in the Playgroups start exploring and interacting socially. This is the time they need to be given exposure to sensory materials and activities for their holistic development. This age is very important for a parent to help their kids become smarter and boost brain development. Children are taught social skills through engaging in conversations in groups, stage activities, and rhyme fun time. Small and large group activities are planned that support the children’s needs and promote the development of cognitive, language, social/emotional, and physical skills. Here in the classroom, opportunities for children’s creative exploration are balanced with the teachers’ guidance during intentional teaching and learning activities. The Playgroup program is designed to help children develop their social skills, basic motor skills, eye-hand coordination, movement control, independence, problem-solving skills, and language which includes new vocabulary, & correct pronunciation.
